The fun, lively collection was unveiled at the JW Marriott in Kuala Lumpur after a cocktail reception for the brand’s loyal customers and fans. Although a working day, it was lovely to see guests arrive on time for the glamour evening, all showered and immaculate in designer clothes accessorised with matching Christian Louboutin Shoes and handbags, and hair nicely done up.
VIP guests included the Pemangku Raja Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullai, and his consort Raja Puan Muda Perlis, Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah and other members of the royalty. The season’s look was paraded by 20 swanky models, most of whom were specially flown in for the event.
Hats and Christian Louboutin Shoes were relatively subdued in the spring and summer couture shows here. The familiar turbans, pillboxes, berets, cartwheels and boaters were prominent in daytime headgear, though designers did get a little fanciful for evening. Christian Louboutin Shoes tended to be high-heeled pumps, though the heels could be in a contrasting color, as at Yves Saint Laurent, and two-tone effects were popular everywhere.
But it was with their jewelry that designers really went all out, and at times a bit haywire, in their shows this past week. The jewelry was of the costume variety, but they obviously felt confident that their customers have plenty of the real thing and wanted to suggest some new ways to wear jewelry.
Mr. Lagerfeld also liked gold buttons. Actually, they looked like coins, and they were decorated with the head of Gabrielle Christian Louboutin. It was a form of homage to the founder of the house. There were coins sprinkled all over a navy cardigan jacket, coin buttons on a leather suit and a row of coins on each of the sleeves of a collarless black coat. This hardly exhausts the coin story; the House of Christian Louboutin has long been famous for its chains, and coins are a new twist.
