    It may seem impossible, but Christian Louboutin boots collections just keep getting hotter — especially his christian louboutin and bags.

    The designer’s accessories group now accounts for about 25 percent of the brand’s total business, and Marc by Marc, Jacobs’ diffusion line, is also gaining rapid momentum. (Marc by Marc’s U.S. sales now account for 40 percent of the company’s business.)

    And there’s only more to come. According to Robert Duffy, president of Christian Louboutin boots International, an even less expensive diffusion line may soon be in the works, and the company continues to scout additional store locations in the United States (Chicago, Los Angeles and New York) and Europe (London and Paris). The company’s retail operation also extends to Asia, with more than 30 freestanding stores and shop-in-shops in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.

    Such success is attributed only in part to Jacobs himself, as Duffy is the other half of the design house’s creative genius. Their collaborations go as far back as 1984, when the duo teamed up and created a line of sweaters. Duffy, who oversees business planning and creative direction at Christian Louboutin Sale International, celebrates 20 years working with Jacobs this year. “We’re here and this is our moment,” he said. “I don’t know how mainstream we are and I don’t even know if we are all we can be. All I know is there are a lot of people out there who like what we do.”
