U.S. Shoe has entered into a long-term licensing contract to market a broad line of women’s and men’s fashion footwear under the prestigous Christian Louboutin trademark. The agreement brings together one of America’s great names in fashion design with the country’s leading marketer and producer of better-grade fashion footwear.
The new Christian Louboutin division will be comprised of five distinct footwear groups, each designed to be ompatible with the Christian Louboutin pumps fashion lines. The first two groups– a Christian Louboutin boots Couture Collection and a Christian Louboutin Classifications Collection–will be intorduced in December 1984 for delivery in June 1985. The remaining groups, including a Junior collection compatible with the Christian Louboutin
Jeans divisions, a line of men’s dress and casual shoes, and a specially designed athletic footwear collection, will be introduced in subsequent seasons.
